Francis Hagan as member of Barcarii

Francis Hagan is(among other things to not narrow his personality too much .-)!)an outstanding writer of historical fiction who already wrote several books focused mainly on period of late antiquity and the most importantly to me he is first ever person to hire me to create cover artwork for his book "The Arthuriad"(www.amazon.com/Arthuriad-Franc… )which was my first payed illustrating job ever.

Next to being a writer Francis is recently becoming still more and more active reenactor and this portrait was made according one of his own photos where he pose as a member of Barcarii.
