Excellent work here. This picture reminds me of two things. 1: the graphic novel "It was the War of the Trenches" by Jacques Tardi, and, 2: the film "Paths of Glory". Again, excellent work.

Jacques Tardi is excellent WW1(well,not only WW1)artist and author of many related storyes(shorter or longer)from the Great war and this work is definitely influenced by him as well as by Paths of Glory movie,so you're right if it reminds you those two.
